FIFA 20 players will be able to celebrate 25 years of the MLS with a series of 90’s inspired kits.
The kits will be available to players from the Feb. 12, ahead of the start of the new 2020 MLS season.

Each team in the current MLS league season will get a kit whether they were in the league’s formation or not - with founding members of the league taking inspiration from the kits they wore back then.
It is not expected that players of the game will have to “unlock” the kits with them being available to pick as soon as the update goes out.
Each of the new kits features the iconic three-stripe Adidas EQT on the right shoulder, a design which has a unique relationship with the league having first debuted in the ’90s when the MLS was formed.
The MLS hosted celebrities and sports stars at the Penn Plaza Pavilion in New York to celebrate the strength of the league and to unveil new Adidas kits for each of its 26 teams at the “FORWARD25” showcase.
The “FORWARD25” night was also an opportunity for the expansion teams Miami FC and Nashville SC to debut their away kits.

It is not yet known whether these two new sides will appear in FIFA 20 or if fans will be left waiting until FIFA 21, though there is hope - in the past expansion sides New York FC and Orlando SC were both added to the game mid-cycle.
Excitement for the new franchises will be huge - Inter Miami FC is part-owned by superstar David Beckham, and both have plans to build brand new soccer-specific stadiums in their cities.
The new MLS season kicks off on the Feb. 29 when D.C United host the Colorado Rapids.
