FIFA 21: Scott McTominay and James Milner Showdown SBC: Cheap solutions, stats, requirements, and more

After making Ajax vs PSV the most-watched match in Eredivisie history, EA Sports has decided to pick England's most famous rivalry, Liverpool vs Manchester United, to be at the forefront of the latest Showdown SBC.

These unique Squad Building Challenges take two players from each team, grant them a new card with upgraded stats, and a chance to grow even stronger depending on the outcome of the match. If a team wins, the player that represents them gets a +2 OVR boost, with both getting a +1 in the case of a draw.

This time around, we got Liverpool's James Milner and Manchester United's Scott McTominay as the two selected players.

James Milner Showdown SBC - Stats

Milner isn't particularly fast, which might be a turn off for a lot of players, however, true to his real-life counterpart, he's a tireless CM that could be well suited to fill a backup role.

He's got impressive Composure (92), Shot Power (97), Volleys (90), Crossing (90), and Stamina (92). Of course, his craziest stat is his penalty-taking abilities, which EA Sports has deemed as near-perfect, giving him 99.

Scott McTominay Showdown SBC - Stats

Just like Milner, McTominay is not insanely fast in FIFA 21. He's no slouch, though, when it comes to technical ability and being a threat outside the opposition's box, as well as being defensively reliable.

As a CDM that boasts 82 in Interceptions, 81 in Defensive Awareness, and 87 in Standing Tackle, having incredible Shot Power (90), and Long Shots (89) are a bonus that could lure players into investing to get this card.
