Now that Fall Guys has finally released, over 1.5 million players have entered the fight for first place in the wacky battle royale-style game. Playing a series of minigames with the aim to be the last jellybean standing at the end of it all, there’s a lot to learn if you want to be the best. Here’s how to win at Hoarders.
How to win Hoarders
With a map split into three thirds, players must fight for control of giant balls in Fall Guys’ Hoarders mode. There are seven balls in total, and the team with the fewest number in their zone by the end of the countdown timer will be eliminated. As with the other games of this nature, it’s not about coming first - it’s about making sure you don’t come last.
With that in mind, target the opponent with the fewest balls here, not the one with the most. Jump into the underside of the balls where possible, or dive at them headfirst for a little more impact. Try and get your balls stuck in the centre of your zone, where they’re partially protected by the barriers.

If you have three or more balls, it’s time to fall back for a defensive play. Since it’s impossible to lose with three balls, as long as you can block enemy players from their attempts to steal one of your hard-earned points, you won’t have to leave the zone again.

At the top of the screen, you can see each team’s total score, and a warning sign will show the team that’s closest to elimination. Where possible, target that team relentlessly to ensure that they can’t change their status. You could even grab the enemy players and hold them back where possible, but don’t be too eager to leave your zone as the tides of battle can change in an instant.
Quick Tips
- Aim for three balls in your court and then protect them well
- Target the lowest-scoring team
- Grab enemies that enter your zone, preventing them from easily stealing your points
