Following a number of esport event delays and cancellations, DreamHack Summer and Dallas have both been delayed until later this year.
DreamHack Summer, originally scheduled for 12-14th June 2020, will now take place on 6-9th August at Elmia in Jonkoping, Sweden.
The push back also means DreamHack Masters will no longer be co-located at the same event, with organisers “evaluating options” for how to proceed with it.
DreamHack Dallas, originally scheduled for 22-24th May, will now take place 14-16th August at Kay Bailey Hutchison Convention Center in Dallas, US.
An optional refund will be available for one month for those who cannot attend the new dates. Those who purchased tickets for DreamHack Masters will be automatically refunded, with those who want to attend DreamHack Summer having to repurchase tickets.

“While the action is precautionary, it was not a decision taken lightly,” the statement reads.
“We have evaluated legislators’ decisions to temporarily suspend events where large groups gather, and the need for so many to shelter in place at this time - all of which informed our decision to put the wellness of our communities first by rescheduling.
“DreamHack will follow the guidance of trusted health advisors, city officials and venue partners for our remaining events in 2020.”
