Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree Realm of Shadow Size

Hidetaka Miyazaki, the Director of Elden Ring and President of FromSoftware explained in an interview with Weekly Famitsu, as per a translation from  Frontline Gaming Japan, how big Eldne Ring's new area, Real of Shadow, will be in the Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.

Hang onto your hats, as it is quite huge. Its size, according to Hidetaka Miyazaki, is bigger than that of Limgrave. For reference, Limgrave is the massive area as you first emerge into The Lands Between.

That's seriously big for a DLC. In fact, it is the biggest DLC developer FromSoftware has ever created. Hidetaka Miyazaki also confirmed that the Realm of Shadow is more diverse than Limgrave and has its own small dungeons, as well as bigger legacy dungeon experiences, as the developer wanted the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion to provide its own "Elden Ring-like experience."
