The Dota 2 cosplay community showcases their incredible talent every year, blowing fans away with their amazing, unique costume designs. Recently, Valve announced that The International 11 Cosplay Competition is underway, inviting all cosplayers to craft their best possible Dota-themed costumes ahead of The International 2022 (TI11) in Singapore next month. Here's everything you need to know about the contest, including how to register and the prizes on offer.
How to register for Dota 2 TI11 Cosplay Competition
Registrations for The International 11 Cosplay Contest are open until midnight (23:59 Singapore Time) on 1st October 2022, leaving contestants with less than a month to prepare. Fortunately, signing up for the competition is easy.
To register for the Dota 2 TI11 Cosplay Competition, contestants must complete this form. All entrants will be asked their full name, email, age, country of residence, telephone number, and the Dota 2 hero they will be cosplaying. In addition, entrants must submit photos of the intended character to be cosplayed and the work-in-progress materials.

The International 11 Cosplay Competition features a $15,000 prize pool. 15 Finalist Winners will participate in the Cosplay Winners Live Presentation at the Dota 2 Grand Finals Venue in Singapore to determine who will win the Skill Awards cash prize.
These individuals will each receive $500 and two tickets to attend The International 11 Grand Finals on 29th and 30th October 2022. The Skill Winners will be awarded an additional $7500 in the following denominations:
- $3000 - Best In Show Award
- $1500 - Best Technique Award
- $1500 - Biggest Transformation Award
- $1500 - Judges' Choice Award
Valve notes, "Participating contestants do not need to be event ticket holders — all cosplayers who register to participate will attend the Judging Event near the event venue on 27th October."
