Dota 2 Stockholm Major Fantasy guide - Dates, cards and more

The ESL One Stockholm Major presented by ESL is just around the corner where the best 14 teams from around the world will gather to compete. Dota 2 fans won’t want to miss participating in the Fantasy to earn amazing rewards.

The Dota 2 Fantasy is a fun chance for players to participate in the hype around the Majors and have a chance to receive rewards. This guide will help you navigate the Dota 2 Stockholm Major Fantasy. 

Dota 2 Stockholm Major Fantasy Dates

The Dota 2 Stockholm Major starts on 12th May 2022 and will run until the 22nd May 2022. Viewers can watch the Dota 2 Majors on Twitch or YouTube.

The event can also be watched live 20th through the 22nd May 2022 at the Hovet Arena in Stockholm, Sweden. Tickets are still available for this event and there will be tons of activities such as cosplay and meet and greets. 

The Dota Major Fantasy takes place every day during the competition and participants can begin collecting the cards required. 

Stockholm Major Fantasy - Cards & how to play

The Dota 2 Fantasy can be accessed through Steam. This year’s Fantasy continues with the Majors, but any drafters who have teams who didn’t qualify will still receive the gold or silver for that team. Drafters can buy card packs for their favourite teams and can join support clubs to receive extra card packs. 

Each day, drafters will receive one card pack for each win of the day. These cards have the players who will be competing in the Major.

Drafters select a team of players out of their cards that they believe will perform the best. This means that every day during the Majors, drafters will have to create new teams. 

Drafters will earn Shards and other rewards as they earn levels based on their team’s outcome. Rewards will be given based on participants who are in the top 10%, 25%, 50%, and 100%.
