Dead by Daylight is upgrading its Rift system, and with the new changes, players will be able to get a lot more Bloodpoints than before for completing the Rift and Tomes. With the new system, fans will be able to level up past level 86 in the Rift (the previous limit and end of the cosmetic rewards), all the way up to the new maximum level 200.
Each level from 86 onwards will reward players with 5,000 bonus Bloodpoints, so completing the Rift up to level 200 can net players a total of 570,000 extra Bloodpoints to spend! While you won't get any cosmetics past the end of the Deep Rift, you'll at least get to keep earning in-game currency. This will make leveling up in the Rift one of the fastest ways to earn Bloodpoints.
Prior to the current update, once players hit the level cap of 86, earning further Rift Fragments didn't result in any rewards whatsoever - and Fragments can't be carried over from one tome to another, making any extras pointless.
Players can earn Rift Fragments by completing challenges in the current Tome or in any active Event Tomes. The changes to the Rift system coincide with the release of Tome 20: Mythic, featuring survivor Yui Kimura and killer The Spirit.
