Dead by Daylight's new May Developer update includes updates to popular killers like the Good Guy, the Mastermind, the Cannibal, and more, as well as a slew of changes to both killer and survivor perks like Deadlock, Decisive Strike, Scourge Hook: Pain Resonance, and Pop Goes the Weasel.
These perk and killer updates will no doubt switch up the game's meta, with developers seeking to tone down the power of over-used perks and overpowered killers while honing and powering up lesser-used and less powerful ones.
The most major changes coming this month come to Chucky (the Good Guy), with a decreased Hidey-Ho cooldown and the ability to Scamper now limited to only during Slice & Dice attacks. The Cannibal's chainsaw will also see major updates, with an increased duration of his Sweep per token, and an increased movement speed. He'll also have decreased collision detection size, allowing him to navigate tighter spaces.
These changes will be available during the game's next PTB and 8.0.0 Update, which should be available in just a few days after the 8th Dead by Daylight anniversary stream. These changes are slated for the PTB, so changes could come to these updates before they're released on the game's full official build.
