Lara Croft Could Be Dead by Daylight's Next Survivor, Leaks Suggest

As Dead by Daylight's 8th anniversary has kicked off in full swing, many players are already looking forward to the licensed survivor scheduled to come out in July 2024, according to the game's roadmap. Known Dead by Daylight leaker Gumpy suggested in a new comment that the next survivor will be "Miss L.C." - aka Tomb Raider's Lara Croft.

Lara Croft is one of the most iconic characters in the world of gaming, so it'd make perfect sense for her to join other famous characters from the multiverse as a survivor. Behaviour teased that July's new character "truly embodies the meaning of Survivor," which is a perfect description for Croft, too. Not only is Croft known for surviving in the wake of all the threats that come her way, the reboot trilogy is even known as the Survivor Trilogy.

While many speculate that Lara Croft is likely the next survivor, that's not the only theory. Some believe that it could be a character from The Walking Dead, such as Daryl Dixon. In a teaser, the Dead by Daylight team hinted at an "impending zombie apocalypse," perhaps suggesting that Dixon will be the next survivor. In the past, Norman Reedus, who plays Dixon, has hinted at being a DBD fan on X/Twitter.
