Dead by Daylight is no stranger to pop-culture crossovers, having collaborated with Resident Evil and even Stranger Things in the past. However, more recently, fans wondered if characters from the iconic film franchise Scooby-Doo could feature in the game. It might sound strange, but some data miners believe it might be true.
Indeed, the appearance of Scooby-Doo's Shaggy Rogers in the new fighting game MultiVersus, where he takes on the formation and attacks of Ultra Instinct Shaggy, certainly helps this case. Moreover, Shaggy is a relatively iconic character in the horror genre - and would arguably fit right in Dead by Daylight.
Here's everything we know about Scooby-Doo potentially coming to Dead by Daylight and which characters from the series could also enter the Fog.
Is Scooby-Doo Coming To Dead By Daylight?
According to Leaks by Daylight, a well-respected dataminer within the community, a Scooby-Doo licensed chapter might be coming to Dead by Daylight.
Last month we reported that Dead by Daylight Chapter 26, the next chapter to be released after Resident Evil Project W comes to live servers, would be an original chapter featuring a knight as the killer. However, on 6th August, data miners discovered that the chapter would feature a licensed killer, leaving players to wonder who it could be.
According to the leak, it is speculated that the killer and survivors of Dead by Daylight Chapter 26 could stem from the Scooby-Doo franchise. In particular, the killer could be the Black Knight Ghost from Scooby-Doo 2: Monsters Unleashed.
Leaks by Daylight mentioned that Shaggy could be the survivor to enter the Fog with the Black Knight Ghost, but really any of the Mystery Gang could fit right in as survivors. Well, aside from Scooby, of course, as all the survivors are human.

The leaks are further supported by a survey Behaviour Interactive sent out last year asking fans which collaborations they would like to see in the game; Scooby-Doo made the list of options, suggesting the team sees it as a potential license.
Leaks by Daylight speculated that, alternatively, the killer could be a knight from For Honor - considering that Dead by Daylight collaborated with For Honor a few months ago to create a knight charm for the former game.
Regardless, we will endeavor to update you regarding any further developments. But for now, these speculations are but rumors.
