The Casting of Frank Stone's New Trailer Reveals Features Never Seen Before In A Supermassive Game

Supermassive Games' The Casting of Frank Stone got a new trailer at the Xbox Gamescom Broadcast 2024, unveiling a variety of exciting features that have never been seen before in a Supermassive game.

Some of those new features are social, allowing fans to play with friends and share the experience with followers. The upcoming title will feature couch co-op with up to three friends, letting players to "pass the controller back and forth as the character perspective changes throughout the game." It'll also offer Twitch Integration, which gives viewers the power to vote on each choice - and streamers only have a limited number of vetoes, adding to the tension.

Other fresh mechanics give players rewards for completing the game. One of those includes the Cutting Room Floor - a mode that lets players "step into the director’s chair" and replay key moments, grab missed items, or play scenes without completely restarting the game. Players also get Plunderer's Instinct upon completing the game, a perk that highlights the auras of any missed Trinket Chests.

Last but not least is a new 8 MM camera feature - which means that "players can use the 8 MM camera lens to observe their supernatural pursuer," adding a new perspective to the terror in the game. ​
