How to Find the Royal Net in Disney Dreamlight Valley

With the arrival of Disney Dreamlight Valley: The Storybook Vale, players are getting ready to work towards new villagers and plenty more. Before catching snippets and feeding owls can become a regular part of the Dreamlight Valley journey, there's yet another Royal Tool to be added to a growing selection.

Just like in A Rift in Time, The Storybook Vale brings in an entirely new item that will also expand what players can do back in their main region. Getting Merida free from the inkies is easy, but it'll take a little searching to find the Royal Net in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

Royal Net Secret Location in Disney Dreamlight Valley

After arriving on the Hummingbird Airship, head across the bridge to reach Merida. The gooey blobs around her are inkies, and these work exactly the same as night thorns in the main valley. Remove a few, and Merida will introduce you to The Lorekeeper. Sadly, The Lorekeeper's magic quickly escapes in the form of several flying snippets. You'll need the Royal Net to actually catch these magical bird-like creatures.

After speaking to Merida, you need to find the Royal Net's secret location in the Library of Lore. During that conversation, she'll also mention a potion. Look around the library for a corner area with a tent, archery target, and campfire cooking station. On the left side of that little area is a sack, and inside it you'll find a Pickaxe Potion. Use it from your inventory, and your Royal Pickaxe will now be able to handle small petrified wood rocks around The Storybook Vale.

Once you've cleared all the petrified wood in the Library of Lore, it's time to deal with the strange circle in the middle of the room. On one side of the circle there are two wooden posts with gold handles on them, interact with each to rotate the outside two circles.

Once you've aligned each different circle as seen in the above images so that it makes one complete image, the Royal Net will emerge from the center of this circle. Grab it, and you'll finally be able to continue your journey with this tool in Disney Dreamlight Valley: The Storybook Vale.
