How To Feed Animals In Disney Dreamlight Valley

Disney Dreamlight Valley offers a myriad of animals that players come across while exploring the different biomes in the Dream Valley. In addition, the game features various animals around the Dream Valley, which you can unlock as companions. 

In the wake of that, we often see players looking to feed animals. But when they approach the animal, it usually tends to run away or hide. As a result, players want to know how to feed animals in Disney Dreamlight Valley.

How To Feed Critters In Disney Dreamlight Valley

You can feed animals (also known as Critters) in Disney Dreamlight Valley by following them around for a while until you get the option to 'Approach' them. Once that happens, you must interact with the animal, and your inventory will open up. 

Now, select the item you want to feed to the respective animal. While you can provide the animals in Disney Dreamlight Valley with any food item, feeding their favorite food items three times will unlock them as your pet (or companion).

That aside, you can feed an animal only once in 24 hours, so you won't get the 'Approach' option if you have already nourished them. There are around eight Critters in Disney Dreamlight Valley, each of which has five different variants based on color and general appearance. 

Each animal is exclusive to a biome. Every 24 hours, you get two versions of the same animal in any biome. You can feed them and wait for them to spawn again. As mentioned earlier, feeding animals their favorite food three times will unlock them as companions.
