The options available do make for a unique experience for any player looking to create their own unique and customized character, even though there are no sliders or complex meshes to control.

Naturally, you can also change your character's hairstyles, eyes, ears, and mouths and even add some makeup to glamourize your avatar, even though you can only choose between presets, you get a wide variety to choose from. After this you can then choose your own character's clothing, and then the textures for the clothing on top of that, giving you quite an in-depth control of the final look of your character.  

Now that your character has been made, you can show off your new look in an adorable selfie with Mickey or Minnie Mouse. Taking selfies seems to be a big part of the gameplay in Dreamlight Valley as well based on what we've seen in the trailers for the game, so your selfie will likely be the first of many to come, but this one is all about you and the awesome character you've just made.
