Hardcore dungeon crawler Dark and Darker is getting a mobile spin-off, challenging players with new extraction RPG gameplay. Titled Dark and Darker Mobile, KRAFTON have revealed that the mobile title will be getting a release later this year.
Ahead of the launch, a new teaser trailer showcases just some of the gameplay players can expect from the upcoming title. PvE dungeons will have players focusing on gathering loot and resources while fending off dangerous enemies, while PvP will shift the focus to competitive encounters.
Dark and Darker Mobile will also introduce the "Sidekick System" which will allow players to recruit AI-controlled companions to aid in their dungeon-delving. These companions can be leveled up and honed, while the pet system will allow the granting of various buffs to increase the chances of survival.
Players will be able to create their own character, choosing from one of five classes: Fighter, Barbarian, Rogue, Ranger, or Cleric. Each class has its own weapon and armor specializations, along with a range of active and passive skills. Ahead of dungeon diving, players will equip two active skills. As for passives, these skill slots increase as you level up.
Dungeon expeditions will involve exploring and gathering loot, all while fighting against deadly enemies. Players can also take on quests from local merchants to unlock bigger and better rewards.
While we don't have an exact release date just yet for Dark and Darker Mobile, the game is aiming for a global release by the end of 2024. Fans can head over to the official website at https://dndm.krafton.com/en.
