IEM Beijing has reached the playoffs and four teams have made it through to keep the dream alive.
Astralis, FaZe Clan, Team Vitality and 100 Thieves will now face each other before the winners endure a best-of-five for the trophy, IEM Katowice 2020 spot and $125,000.
Two teams were straight through to the semifinals after strong performances in their respective group stages.
Astralis looking poised to reclaim their top spot after a surge from Evil Geniuses after their run at StarSeries & i-League Season 8 in Turkey.
Evil Geniuses were eliminated by FaZe Clan in a nail-biting DustII overtime map during the decider match for Group B, with the latter now going up against the Danes in the first semifinal match.
The dangerous duo of Marcelo "coldzera" David and Nikola "NiKo" Kovač united under the FaZe banner appear to be reviving the team to title contender status.
