Evil Geniuses has announced the arrival of Wilton "Zews" Prado as the CS:GO teams new head coach.
The Brazilian coach’s most recent stint was with MIBR where the roster went through a myriad of changes after they had disappointing results throughout 2019 and 2020.

After leaving MIBR, zews stated that the issues there were “more complex and deeply embedded than they seem to be” and “requiring a bigger change to its culture”.
Former Evil Geniuses coach ImAPet had similar issues within his team, expressing that he had “horrendous” relationships with players Peter "stanislaw" Jarguz and Tarik "tarik" Celik.
stanislaw and zews’ relationship in Evil Geniuses will be one to keep an eye on as the duo previously worked together in Liquid.
After being removed from Liquid’s lineup, stanislaw took to Twitter to say that he felt he was “set up to fail from the very start” and that he was the only one to disagree with Zews on his ideas.
Evil Geniuses, who currently sit seventh on HLTV’s World Ranking, are set to take on FURIA in ESL Pro League Season 11 North America on Saturday evening for a chance to earn a spot in the Grand Final.
zews’ new team will also take part in two online competitions in May, the North American divisions of DreamHack Masters Spring and BLAST Premier Spring.
