Following the conclusion of IEM Katowice 2021, CS:GO esports fans don't have to wait too long for the next big tournament to kick off. We are, of course, talking about the ESL Pro League Season 13, which promises exciting CS:GO action. Here's everything you need to know about the ESL Pro League Season 13, including how you can watch all the action, the full schedule, tournament format, teams participating, the prize pool and more.

ESL Pro League Season 13 prize pool

There's a whopping 750,000 USD up for grabs at the ESL Pro League Season 13. Every team will get a piece of the pie, while the winner will get 175,000 USD.

The prize pool distribution is:

  • 1st place - $175,000
  • 2nd place - $60,000
  • 3rd & 4th place - $30,000 each
  • 5th & 6th place - $15,000 each
  • 7th & 8th place - $12,500 each
  • 9th to 12th place - $10,000 each
  • 13th to 16th place - $7,000 each
  • 17th to 20th place - $5,000 each
  • 21st to 24th place - $3,000 each

The winner of ESL Pro League Season 13 will get a spot at the BLAST Premier 2021 Global Finals. Further, teams will earn Pro Tour and BLAST Premier points based on their placement.

 

ESL Pro League Season 13 teams

A total of 24 teams will participate in the ESL Pro League Season 13. These include partner teams, as well as those who qualified for the tournament.

The ESL Pro League Season 13 tournament includes teams from all major regions, and features all the top teams in the world. Some top teams include Astralis, Team Vitality, Gambit Esports, Heroic, Na'Vi and more.

The image above showcases all the teams which will be competing at the ESL Pro League Season 13, as well as the group distributions going into the first phase of the tournament. 

ESL Pro League Season 13 format

The ESL Pro League Season 13 will take place in three phases. First, the group stage runs in a round-robin format with the winners in each group moving into the play-in for playoffs seeding. The 2nd and 3rd place finishes in each group move into the first round of the playoffs.

During the play-in phase (single-elimination bracket) all matches will be best-of-three. The winners of the play-in phase will move on to the ESL Pro League semi-finals, while the 2nd place finish moves into the quarter-finals. 

Lastly, we will see the playoffs stage of ESL Pro League Season 13 take place. This will feature a single-elimination bracket format, with all matches being best-of-three, except for the grand final, which is best-of-five.

ESL Pro League Season 13 Schedule

The ESL Pro League Season 13 isn't just a one-week tournament. In fact, the tournament will run from 8th March until 11th April 2021. That's more than a month of top tier CS:GO esports action to look forward to.

The group stage will run from 8th to 29th March, and you can check out the per-group schedule below.

On 8th April, the play-in stage will begin, which will be followed by the playoffs ending in the grand final on 11th April 2021.

Each day, the action is scheduled to kick off at 11:00 GMT.
