BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022 - Schedule, Format, Teams, How To Watch

The BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022 will be the organization's continuation of the Counter-Strike Global Offensive (CSGO) esports league. After successful events in spring, BLAST will look to finish the year on a high with exciting events in the coming few months.

The Fall Groups 2022 will feature 12 world-class teams competing for a prize pool of about $177,500 and a place in the Fall Finals. The organizers will hold the tournament offline, and it is one of the Counter-Strike events in our 2022 esports calendar.

BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022 Schedule and Format

The BLAST Premier Fall Groups 2022 will start on the 19th of August 2022 and end on the 28th of August 2022. The organizers have not announced the venue for the tournament yet.

Format

The Group Stage will follow a double-elimination (GSL) format, and all matches will be BO1. There are three groups with four teams each. All teams will advance to the seeded Play-In Stage.

The Play-In Stage will feature three single-elimination gauntlets with matches being BO3. The winner of each gauntlet will directly advance to the Fall Finals, and each gauntlet's second and third-placed teams will go to the Last Chance Stage. Lastly, the fourth team from each gauntlet will book a place in the Fall Showdown.

As the name suggests, the Last Chance Stage will become the only remaining way for teams to stay in the tournament. It will follow a single-elimination bracket with all games being BO3. The winners of the Last Chance Stage will advance to the Fall Finals. However, the loser will proceed to the Fall Showdown.
