3DMAX Clean Sweeps The MongolZ To Win Skyesports Championship 2024

Skyesports Championship 2024 playoffs have been full of surprises, as we saw incredible comebacks in quarter-finals and two major upsets in semi-final as the first seeds from both groups were sent home by The MongolZ and 3DMAX.

The final between The MongolZ and 3DMAX didn't fail to deliver a nailbiting experience as well as 3DMAX proved everyone wrong and beat the opponents by 2-0 to lift the trophy and take the first prize of the $300,000 prize pool.

Maka from 3DMAX thanked the fans for cheering for them after winning the tournament.

“I would like to thank every fan from France firstly who has been watching us at any time," Maka said. "I would also like to thank all the people who cheered for us. It was quite a tough LAN with some tough moments – we fell sick and stuff – but we made it through and we’re so happy."

Beating Aurora in the semi-final gave 3DMAX a massive confidence and momentum boost and they used it in the grand final and crushed The MongolZ on both maps. Anubis went 13-4 in their favor and even though The MongolZ started off by winning two rounds on Ancient, they couldn't event contest 3DMAX as the map reached third round as 3DMAX won the map by 13-5 and the grand final by 2-0.
