COD: Mobile S2 SMG tier list: Every submachine gun ranked from best to worst for Season 2

While COD: Mobile Season 2, entitled Day of Reckoning, doesn't have a new Submachine Gun for players to unlock, there have been quite a few balance changes. Taking these balance changes into consideration, we've got a tier list for all SMGs at the start of COD: Mobile Season 2, ranking them from best to worst.

We've already ranked all the Assault Rifles from best to worst, as well as all the shotguns so check them out if you prefer using this weapon type.

COD: Mobile Season 2 Submachine Gun tier list 

Despite COD: Mobile Season 2 not adding a new SMG, there's already a total of 13 in the game. 

At the start of a new season, things can always get chaotic as players aren't sure which SMGs are the best, and which they should avoid.

Please note: This tier list is accurate at the launch of COD: Mobile Season 2. 

Description of the tiers

We have opted for a standard five-tier system, S to D.

S-Tier: The absolute best SMGs in COD: Mobile Season 2 which can melt opponents in seconds.

A-Tier: With a great loadout these Submachine Guns could go toe-to-toe against the S-Tier.

B-Tier: These SMGs are very capable with a perfect loadout that fits your playstyle.

C-Tier: This SMG tier absolutely requires you to use a perfect loadout. While these SMGs have some downsides, they can still work in certain situations.

D-Tier: The trash tier. You would be much better off using one of the other SMGs in this list.

It is important to note tier lists are not an exact science. However, this list does give you a good idea of the power rankings when it comes to Submachine Guns at the start of COD: Mobile Season 2.

COD: Mobile SMG tier list

Below, we've ranked all 13 SMG options for the start of COD: Mobile Season 2 from best to worst, kicking things off with the S-Tier weapons which can melt opponents in mere seconds.

S-Tier SMGs:

The Razorback is can mow down any player (Picture: Activision)

• Razorback

These SMGs for the start of COD: Mobile Season 2 really shine. Even without an ideal loadout, you can melt your opponents in seconds thanks to high damage, fire rate and mobility.

A-Tier SMGs:

Use an Akimbo loadout with the Fennec (Picture: Activision)

• Fennec
• QXR
• GKS
• AGR 556

With a great loadout picking the right attachments to get the job done, these SMGs can stand up to the S-Tier options, especially in close to medium-range engagements.

B-Tier SMGs:

The PDW-57 looks great with the Toxic Waste Blueprint (Picture: Activision)

• RUS-79U
• PDW-57

You will need the perfect loadout to make these SMG options in the B-Tier sing. With all the right attachments, they can compete with the A-Tier.

C-Tier SMGs:

The MSMC might still be a competitive option (Picture: Activision)

• MSMC
• Cordite
• Pharo

The C-Tier Submachine Guns for the start of COD: Mobile Season 2 can remain competitive with the perfect loadout but don't expect them to consistently win gunfights against A-Tier and S-Tier SMGs.

D-Tier SMGs:

Steer clear of the HG 40 (Picture: Activision)

• Chicom
• HG 40

Don't waste your time with the D-Tier SMGs in COD: Mobile Season 2, as there are 11 other, better options to choose from.
