The Call of Duty: Mobile Season 7 update, entitled “Elite of the Elite” brings a tonne of content for gamers to enjoy, from new maps, modes and a Cyber Attack event, to the Kinetic Armour Operator skill, and the brand-new Battle Pass filled to the brim with rewards. With every new season, we take on the task of ranking weapons in each class from best to worst, and Season 7 is no different. In our light machine gun (LMG) tier list for COD Mobile Season 7, we feature the new functional weapon, Hades.
Taking all the balance changes into consideration, with the LMG meta arguably being shaken up the most, we've ranked all LMGs in COD Mobile Season 7 from best to worst.
COD Mobile Season 7 LMG tier list
In case you didn’t know, LMGs are for those who love staying in the battle for longer, with large magazines and damage that can shred opponents in seconds. With the addition of Hades, there are now seven LMGs in COD Mobile Season 7, as we also count the hybrid Holger 26 as an LMG.
Please note: Our tier lists are not an exact science, however, we do strive to make our LMG list as accurate as humanly possible.
Description of the tiers
- S-Tier: Even without the perfect loadout, the S-Tier LMG in COD Mobile Season 7 is considered the best of the best. You simply can't go wrong.
- A-Tier: With the right attachments and a great loadout that suits your playstyle, the A-Tier light machine guns can compete with the S-Tier.
- B-Tier: The B-Tier LMG can still pack a punch with the perfect loadout, and should be considered average.
- C-Tier: You will require the perfect loadout to make this LMG sing. Only really effective in specific situations or for specific playstyles.
- D-Tier: The trash tier. You would be better off simply going for one of the other five LMGs on the list.
LMG tier list
There is a total of 7 LMGs in COD Mobile Season 7. This includes the Hades, a brand-new addition that you can unlock by following our dedicated guide.
There are some significant balance changes in COD Mobile Season 7, as the developers deployed several nerfs to the Holger 26. With that in mind, let's get started with the S-Tier LMGs.
S-tier LMG:
Despite the Chopper being considered the top meta LMG in the previous season, the developers didn't nerf it at all in the COD Mobile Season 7 update. The weapon boasts incredible damage and a fast firing rate and claps kids at medium to long ranges. It is a little clunky but when you get used to it, you can decimate enemies with the best loadout.
A-tier LMGs:
- Hades
- RPD
As the new weapon in COD Mobile Season 7, it was a difficult decision to put the Hades in the A-tier of LMGs instead of the S-Tier. While it depends on how the meta evolves, the Hades should remain close to the top of the LMG tier list throughout. It also has a magnificent "Hades - Shoulder Cannon" blueprint in the premium tiers of the Battle Pass.
The RPD also remains a staple pick even without attachments or drop off. It has a medium rate of fire and has one of the fastest time-to-kills, in most circumstances.
B-tier LMGs:
- Holger 26
- M4LMG
The Holger 26 finally got a lot of balance changes in COD Mobile Season 7, related to its popular attachments. Most of these are nerfs, which drops the Holger 26 down to the B-Tier of LMG rankings.
The M4LMG remains in our B-tier list but can still pack a punch. It is versatile with a high attack down sight spread and low recoil pattern but has sub-par damage.
C-tier LMG:
- UL-736
The UL-736 isn't a popular choice in the meta, and with no balance changes, we simply can't justify it moving up in our rankings for LMGs at the start of COD Mobile Season 7.
D-tier LMG:
- S36
You'd be better off with any other weapon in the game. The S36 has poor handling and is not very effective at long ranges. If you do want to use it despite there being six better LMGs, we suggest finding the absolutely perfect loadout.
That completed our list of the best LMGs in COD Mobile Season 7, ranked from best to worst so you don't have to do the research.
