Cities Skylines 2: How To Turn Off Radio

Cities Skylines 2 features the return of the radio which, aside from providing players with some ambience while they build up their cities, also includes a selection of radio hosts to listen to. These hosts provide updates to the goings-on in your city, from housing shortages to forest fires. 

But these announcements might not be to everyone's tastes. For some, the voices cutting through the music to interupt your play can feel a litle jarring. So, is it possible to turn off the radio for some peace and quiet?

How To Turn Off The Radio In Cities Skylines 2

To turn off the radio in Cities Skylines 2, press your button/key to bring up the menu, then head to settings. Find the audio section and look for the radio option. Here, you'll be able to toggle the radio on or off. 

Can You Turn Off Just The Radio Hosts In Cities Skylines 2?

Sadly, no. At the time of writing, players can only turn off the radio completely. This includes the radio hosts/announcers and the music together. You cannot turn off just the radio hosts while keeping the music. 

It's possible that developer Colossal Order could add this as a feature later on down the line. After all, there's plenty of DLCs already planned for the remainder of this year, and the next.
