Best AS44 class setup for COD Vanguard

The AS44 was released at the launch of Call of Duty: Vanguard and could be a meta weapon capable of rivalling the STG44 in the game. The gun is similar to the AK-47 in Warzone and boasts serious damage with 3-shot kill potential in close-quarters combat. Additionally, the AS44 is highly versatile and is easily one of the fastest killing assault rifles in the game.

Although we have yet to rank the AS44 in our tier list of assault rifles in COD Vanguard, it's clear that the AS44 is a powerhouse in the right hands. In this AS44 gun guide, we'll show you which attachments to equip to make it the ultimate killing machine. So without further ado, here is the best AS44 gunsmith class setup at the launch of COD Vanguard.

Best AS44 class setup for COD Vanguard

The AS44 is a beast of a weapon with a strong kickback. With that said, you will have to equip attachments to reduce the high recoil on the AS44 and make it a force to be reckoned with.

• Muzzle: F8 Stabilizer
• Barrel: Zac 650MM Precision
• Optic: (Personal Preference)
• Stock: Zac 12B Custom
• Underbarrel: M1941 Hand Stop
• Magazine: No Magazine
• Ammo Type: Lengthened
• Rear Grip: Polymer Grip
• Proficiency: Sleight of Hand
• Kit: Surplus

The first attachment is the F8 Stabilizer, which is integral to improving accuracy and damage range. Next, the Zac 650MM Precision can be used as the barrel attachment for additional horizontal recoil control and 70% buff to headshot damage.

Next, we've gone with the Zac 12B Custom stock attachment for improved sway control and flinch resistance. Since this loadout is intended for close to mid-range engagement, you should choose an appropriate scope, such as the Slate Reflector Optic.

Followingly, attach the Polymer Grip for further improvements to flinch resistance and firing accuracy.

The M1941 Hand Stop Underbarrel will further improve recoil control. We've also decided not to equip a magazine to avoid introducing unnecessary cons to the build. However, you can equip the Lengthened ammo to buff bullet velocity.

And then lastly, the Sleight of Hand Proficiency will increase reload speed and the Surplus Kit to get additional XP when killing enemies.

• Perk 2: Piercing Vision
• Perk 3: Double Time
