Warzone S2 SMG tier list - every submachine gun ranked from best to worst for Season 2

Call of Duty: Warzone Season 2 really shake things up for the Submachine Gun category of weapons, with a brand-new LC10 getting introduced. This LC10 SMG in Warzone Season 2 is a powerful new weapon, which pushes some other SMGs down in our Warzone Season 2 tier list.

In our tier list, we ranked the Warzone Season 2 SMGs from best to worst via a four-tier system. We've also got an Assault Rifle and Sniper Rifle tier list if you are looking to expand your Warzone arsenal knowledge.

Warzone Season 2 Submachine Gun tier list 

There's a total of 16 Submachine Gun in Warzone Season 2, but not all of them are equal. 

At the start of a new season, things can always get chaotic as players aren't sure which weapons are the best, and which they should completely avoid.

Our Warzone Season 2 SMG tier list includes all the weapons from Black Ops Cold War, as well as the powerful new LC10. This tier list is accurate at the launch of Warzone Season 2. 

Description of the tiers

We have opted for a standard five-tier system, S to D.

S-Tier: The absolute best Submachine Gun in Warzone.

A-Tier: With a great loadout this Submachine Gun could compete against the S-Tier.

B-Tier: In the right hands or in certain scenarios this Submachine Gun is very capable.

C-Tier: This Submachine Gun tier requires you to run a perfect loadout. Can be used in specific scenarios to great effect but has some downsides as well.

D-Tier: The Garbage tier. You would be much better off using one of the other SMGs in this list.

It is important to note tier lists are not an exact science. However, this list does give you a good idea of the power rankings when it comes to SMGs in Warzone Season 2 as they stand today.

The Warzone Season 2 SMG tier list

Below, we've ranked all 15 SMG options for Warzone Season 2 from best to worst, kicking things off with the S-Tier weapons which can melt your opponents in seconds.

S-Tier SMGs:

• MAC-10 (get the best loadout)
• LC10 (get the best loadout)
• MP5 Cold War (get the best loadout)

With the release of the LC10, Warzone Season 2's SMG tier list has been shaken up. With excellent damage range, low recoil and speed, players who have reached Tier 30 of the Battle Pass should give this little monster a try.

The MAC-10 continues to dominate in Warzone Season 2, and the MP5 (Cold War) remains one of the top SMGs.

A-Tier SMGs:

• MP7 (get the best loadout)
• AK-47u (get the best loadout)
• MP5 MW (get the best loadout)
• AUG (get the best loadout)
• Fennec (get the best loadout)

With the right attachments to make the perfect loadout and some practice, these SMGs in Warzone Season 2 can still go toe-to-toe with the S-Tier SMG options.

B-Tier SMGs

• PP19 Bizon (get the best loadout)
• Bullfrog (get the best loadout)
• Uzi (get the best loadout)

Barely not making the A-Tier, these SMGs from the B-Tier are still very effective in the right hands, and with the best loadout possible.

C-Tier SMGs

• Striker 45 (get the best loadout)
• KSP 45 (get the best loadout)

Serviceable in the right situations, for example, Strike 45 has a great range. You need the perfect loadout for these to make them work.

D-Tier SMGs

• ISO SMG (get the best loadout)

Drop these like a hot potato and rather go for one of the fourteen other SMGs options on the list.
