Cold War and Warzone Season 3 Leaks: new weapons, map, characters, gameplay changes, and more

Season 2 of COD: Cold War & Warzone is drawing to an end, and with the recent zombie invasion of all of Verdansk and a possible destructive ending to this iconic map, new leaks have started to emerge regarding Season 3.

All this has been revealed thanks to TheGamingRevolution, a well-known dataminer and content creator of the shooter saga, and who has confirmed that new content and major changes around the game will be implemented during the course of Season 3, linked to the end of the current season.

Cold War & Warzone Season 3: Zombies and Multiplayer changes

Starting with the presence of zombies, the game will have the arrival of a legendary place, longed for by fans for several years.

We are talking about the arrival of Kino der Toten, bringing with it one of the protagonists of this game mode as a playable character: Edward Richtofen.

In addition to this, new multiplayer maps will be available. One will have the name of Echelon, being a combination of the Dome from Modern Warfare 3 and Highrise from Modern Warfare 2. The second will be called Dunes, taking as a location an area surrounded by sand in the European mountains.

Cold War & Warzone Season 3: Weapons and Equipment

Moving on to the arsenal, weapons like the Dragunov and the FAL will make their debut within Cold War, after being available within Warzone. While the Skorpion and the CZ 75 will also arrive in Cold War, with a possible launch within the battle royale.

Along with these, new special equipment will be available in both games, with the Ballistic Shield and Barbed Wire, as well as adding the Flamethrower along with an adaptation of the Annihilator as Operator abilities.

Finally, in addition to the growing rumours of the disappearance of Verdansk as such, a new battlefield could be added within the game to take its place.

This will be located in the Ural Mountains, having more available spawn points, a larger combat area, and a capacity of up to 250 simultaneous players, according to the leaker ModernWarzone.

It is expected that as the days go by, new information about Season 3 will come to light, while Activision and Treyarch have not commented on this.
