Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War Season 1 releases on 16th December at 08:00 GMT, and we've covered all the content as well as the Warzone integration fans can look forward to.
With Black Ops Cold War Season 1 also comes new Prestige level rewards. Here's what you need to know, starting with the season level reset.
Black Ops Cold War season level reset
Don't worry, you won't be losing your Prestige level when Black Ops Cold War Season 1 releases.
Instead, only your season level will be reset to level 1 according to a post by Activision. Players will also be keeping their create-a-class content unlocked during the pre-season.

With Black Ops Cold War Season 1, your progress will resume from the highest Prestige level you achieved during the pre-season.
Further, your Prestige levelling journey is synchronized with Warzone and Modern Warfare. This means you can progress Season levels and increase your Prestige by earning XP in Cold War, Modern Warfare and Warzone.
Black Ops Cold War new Prestige levels & rewards
For Black Ops Cold War Season 1, four new, additional Prestiges have been added for players to unlock through the first 200 levels, with rewards including a shiny new Weapon Blueprint.

Activision outlines the new Prestige levels and rewards for Black Ops Cold War Season 1 below.
- Level 50: New Prestige, Emblem, Prestige Key, Weapon Blueprint, and Battle Pass Tier Skip
- Level 100: New Prestige, Emblem, Prestige Key, and Battle Pass Tier Skip
- Level 150: New Prestige, Emblem, Prestige Key, and Battle Pass Tier Skip
- Level 200: New Prestige, Emblem, Prestige Key, Battle Pass Tier Skip, Master Prestige Calling Card, and all Season Challenges unlocked
- Level 250-1,000: New Prestige Key every 50 levels
Basically, you will be able to earn up to four new Prestiges during Black Ops Cold War Season 1. You will also be able to catch up to the latest available Prestige level if you didn't reach it during the pre-season.
Reaching level 200 also gets you the title of Prestige Master for Season 1, which changes your Season Level Colour.
Lastly, the Prestige Keys you earn can be used in the Prestige Shop too, for example, personalize your Prestige Icon with Legacy Prestige Icons from the previous Call of Duty titles.
