I'm a long-time fan of the BLEACH anime and the manga work of Tite Kubo, having watched the anime's first episode nearly two decades ago. With the Thousand Year Blood War arc, there's a huge, renewed interest in this legendary franchise, and it's very clear why it is considered one of the "big three" in the anime world. But what about video games?

There have been some adaptations, but the upcoming fighting game I am most excited about has to be BLEACH Rebirth of Souls, which looks brilliant in every single way. That's why I am so excited to share the news of the BLEACH Rebirth of Souls release date, which was recently shared by published Bandai Namco.

The release date for BLEACH Rebirth of Souls is 21 March 2025, so mark your calendars! Gamers on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and PC will be able to purchase and "unleash their favorite Bleach character’s unique abilities in breathtaking, sword-slashing battles inspired by the anime."

Of course, you'll be able to play with Ichigo Kurosaki and a wealth of other fan-favorite characters. An interesting draw here, however, is that you can defeat an opponent with a single strike of your blade in certain situations.

The story mode also looks incredible, as shown off by the latest trailer which you can view below. The trailer focuses on the Soul Society arc, arguably one of, if not the best and most iconic arcs in the BLEACH franchise, where Ichigo and his friends attempt to save Rukia from execution!

Last but not least, the trailer teases antagonist and fan-favorite bad boy Sōsuke Aizen alongside Genryusai Shigekuni Yamamoto, which made me replay it three times already this morning.

Stay tuned, as I'll bring you more coverage of BLEACH Rebirth of Souls!
