How to complete Venutius Tomb - ACV Tombs of the Fallen
As mentioned, beware of the steep when initially entering the Venutius Tomb. The best way to start is to jump from the ice down to the first platform. From there you will be able to continue to hop down to the next platform and safely reach the ground level.
Continue across the cave until you reach a breakable wooden board, which you'll need to destroy to enter the puzzle chamber. An awesome touch from Ubisoft, gamers will get to perform a leap of faith to reach the bottom of the chamber.
After the leap, follow along the platform path until you reach the next breakable board. Destroy it, then move the wooden crates out of the way and drag the large stone on top of the pressure plate.
The next step tasks you with finding your way through a maze of ice. However, if you break any of the walls it will create fire on the floor, so stick to the righthand side of the maze for the safest passage.
After wading through the maze you'll come across a locked door with a small hole, just big enough for you to dive through. Get through that and hole and into the next room where another maze of ice awaits you.
Jump down to the platform next to the drawbridge and use an arrow to shoot the ropes holding up the drawbridge and make your way to the next puzzle. Stick to the righthand side of the ice maze again and use arrows to break the necessary walls.
You will reach an entrance and a key will be awaiting you on the other side of the room, but you'll need to avoid the traps en route to grabbing it. Leave the room and shoot an arrow at the ice wall above the blocked passage in front of you.
Shoot an arrow at it, and an oil jar will drop and break the wall, and you'll see the large podium you need for a pressure plate. Drag that back to the main room and apply it to the pressure plate to solve another puzzle.
Now head to the left side of the chamber and hop through the various platforms to reach another drawbridge. Just like the first one, shoot the ropes holding it up to release the bridge and make your way through.
Head down the corridor and make a right, you will come across a locked door. Make your way further right and you'll find a small hole to dive through (to the other side of the locked door).
You'll then be able to shoot an arrow at the door to unlock it and continue your search through the tomb. Through the room with the now unlocked door is your next pressure plate. You'll need to navigate the pathway find the next platform and continue on your way to the next piece of the puzzle.
After following further down the patch, you'll reach another locked gate. Shoot the lock on the nearby ladder to bring it down to your level, and climb up to pull the lever opening the gate. This will clear a pathway for you back to the main chamber to place an object on another pressure plate.
The final plate is near your initial entry-point of the tomb, and it should have a rope connecting to the bottom of the chamber. Follow along until you reach the bottom, and pull the lever to get the pressure plate ball and raise you to the ice path you need to take.
Carry the ball with you to the top of the area, and place the moveable object between the incline and rope, allowing you to jump across. Then run across the rope with the ball, and toss it onto the next platform.
Jump from platform to platform until you've made your way to the top, you will eventually reach the final pressure point. Place the ball and the entrance to the final chamber will open, allowing you to find the treasure.
A brief animation will play, detailing you on the past of Venutius, before allowing you to loot the chest and unlock the Fallen Hero Helmet.
