The Megapithecus boss can be summoned by using the Blue Obelisk located in the southwestern tundra region of the map. To initiate the summoning process, head northeast until you spot the large floating blue Obelisk in the distance.

Upon reaching it, you'll be required to present three Artifacts: The Artifact of the Devourer, The Artifact of the Pack, and The Artifact of the Brute.

After offering these artifacts, the Gamma Megapithecus Portal becomes activatable, transporting you to the Megapithecus's boss arena to start the battle. How To Beat Megapithecus Boss And Rewards in ARK Surivlal Ascended

Megapithecus, resembling a large ape akin to a modern-day gorilla, possesses attacks and overall strength that are considered the weakest among the three main bosses on the Island. However, it is by no means an easy opponent. 

In the midst of battle, Megapithecus has the ability to summon minions in the form of Mesopithecus and Gigantopithecus. Additionally, the environment itself poses a threat as its cold temperatures can quickly induce hypothermia, emphasizing the importance of dressing appropriately to avoid a swift demise.

Similar to the strategy employed against the Broodmother boss, we recommend bringing specific tames into battle. The Yutyrannus is advised for its courage roar ability and well-rounded stats, while the T-Rex is suitable for its effective melee-based combat style, especially when taking an aggressive approach.

The Daeodon can be valuable due to its healing ability, and the Deinonychus, while optional, can prove extremely useful for their bleed damage, which helps a ton, even in harder boss fights such as against the Dragon boss.

Megapithecus boss fight tips: 

Moving on to tips for this boss, the primary danger lies in a significant hazard present in the arena. To the right side of the starting area, there is a large hole that can instantly eliminate anything that falls into it. Coupled with the freezing temperatures of the environment, it becomes crucial to be well-prepared to avoid potential mishaps.

The recommended strategy involves a straightforward rush toward the boss with all your tames. It's essential to avoid being dismounted, as the Megapithecus can swiftly eliminate you, particularly if you are not at a high level or if your armor lacks high defense stats. While you can use a shotgun against the boss or its spawns, it is far more effective to remain mounted on your tame, such as the Rex, and inflict damage from a safe position.

Continuously deal damage with your tames, periodically heal yourself, and address any cold effects with items like Fria Curry or by equipping armor that mitigates hypothermia (most armors offer some level of protection, with some being more effective than others). Maintain the offensive and stay warm throughout the battle until the Megapithecus is eventually defeated.
