Players will be able to craft and own a variety of tools, two unique rarities: Stone and Bone tools, which can be extremely valuable in their explorations across the archipelago. While the early stages of the game will see players utilizing Stone tools to build structures, harvest resources, or use against enemies, the Stone Sickle checks all these boxes but can be tricky to get.
The game won't explicitly inform players how to acquire this tool in-game; however, familiarizing them with the crafting system can help them discover its blueprint and start using it immediately. This guide explains everything players need to know about the Stone Sickle, including how to get the blueprint and its best uses in Aloft.
How To Find And Use The Stone Sickle In Aloft?
After players have found a few Knowledge Stones where they have obtained a blueprint for the Workbench Station, they can utilize this station to craft various items, like consumables, crafting materials, equipment, tools, and more. Some items they can craft at the Workbench require blueprints, which can be attained by combining various resources to learn; the blueprint for Stone Sickle can be achieved in this manner.
According to its in-game description, the Stone Sickle is a tool that can be used to cut and harvest various plants, grasses, and flora in the open-world environment. Based on our gameplay, we have yet to find the tool akin to finding the Stone Axe, but as mentioned before, it can be crafted at the Workbench Station.
To acquire the blueprint, they must go to the Workbench and select the first icon on the left side of the screen to access all their resources and crafting materials. Place one piece of Rope and Wood and two Sharp Stones into the hopper to learn the Stone Sickle blueprint before selecting the icon below to find the tools, and they can craft the Stone Sickle.
If they don't have the Rope or Sharp Stone materials, Rope can be crafted using Mykter Fibre, and Sharp Stones are crafted using Stones. As for its uses, players can cut down various plants, including grass and wildflowers, to acquire seeds and other items like Wheat to acquire the ingredient and also seeds, which can be grown from Farming Plots.
Another use for the Stone Sickle is that it is used as a weapon when going up against mushroomed enemies and striking the node at the center of the corrupted island. While the sickle has a damage rate between 11 and 16, it may not be as effective of a weapon when compared to the Stone Hammer or Dorkip; however, knowing that it can inflict damage to these enemies is a good option for players to keep in mind.
