Zenless Zone Zero is continuing to expand New Eridu with Hoyoverse teasing at Gamescom a brand-new area that could potentially debut with the 1.2 update.

During the trailer, which predominantly featured Zhu Yuan, Qingyi, and Jane Doe, fans were able to get a glimpse at a new area, Uncle Henry's Gas Station, which has a completely different aesthetic from what we've seen so far in the futuristic, highly technological world of New Eridu.

The site looks like a gritty, old, abandoned gas station located in the Outer Ring that could possibly serve as the base of operations for the Sons of Calydon.

In the final seconds, fans were also treated to a standoff between Burnice and Caesar, two members of the Sons of Calydon who will be the featured characters during the Zenless Zone Zero 1.2 update.

1.1 just kicked off this past August 14 bringing Qingyi as the first featured character, replacing fellow Pubsec officer Zhu Yuan. Jane Doe, the second agent that will be released during 1.1 will make her highly-anticipated debut on September 4.

It is expected that 1.2 launches on September 25. As always, Hoyoverse usually packs a lot of content into these updates, and that should be no different this time around, with more commissions, story content, endgame challenges, and of course, more characters to spend your precious Encrypted Master Tapes on.

Zenless Zone Zero is widely available on a plethora of platforms, including mobile devices, PC, and PlayStation 5. Sadly, Nintendo Switch and Xbox fans can't jump into the world of New Eridu at this time, however, with Genshin Impact coming to Microsoft's console, it may be a matter of time before Xbox fans can become Proxies as well.
