How To Beat Zhuyan Boss In Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty

Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is a challenging action RPG, similar to Team Ninja's previous titles like Nioh 1 & 2 and Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin. Like those games, every mission in Wo Long also ends with a boss battle.

Zhuyan is the second main boss in the game. If you're struggling to get past this gigantic enemy or just need some tips on how to overcome it, you're in the right place. Here's our guide on how to beat Zhuyan in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.

Firstly, this is a very simple boss, and you will definitely have an easier time dealing with this than you had with Zhang Liang, the first boss of the game.

The most important thing to know about Zhuyan is that it's weak to Earth Phase spells. It means if you use Earth Phase wizardry spells, like applying stone damage to your melee weapon, you will deal bonus damage.

Zhuyan has two critical blow attacks that you should be aware of. The first is where it lunges towards your leg first. When you see the red symbol, appear, quickly make some distance between yourself and the boss. It will give you enough window to deflect the critical blow.

The second critical blow involves Zhuyan jumping over you. This one is rather easy to deflect, and you should have no problem doing it right if you pay attention.

As mentioned previously, this is a simple and easy boss. You could beat Zhuyan with just three Fatal strikes. The best way to fill up his negative Spirit is by dealing damage from behind.
Zhuyan doesn't have any moves that could hurt you if you stand behind it. However, it does deal some brutal blows if you're in its front.

Let your NPC companion, Zhao Yun, take the beating from the front while you deal with a mixture of regular, martial arts, and elemental attacks from behind. Follow these tips, and you should be able to beat Zhuyan very quickly.

And that concludes our guide on how to beat Zhuyan in Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty.
