The first Xbox Series X gameplay will be shown at Microsoft’s next Inside Xbox presentation on Thursday 7th May.
In an announcement post on Twitter, Microsoft wrote: “You want to see games for the Xbox Series X? We want to show you games for the Xbox Series X.
“Check out First Look next-gen gameplay from our global developers partners within #InsideXbox on Thursday, May 7 at 8am PT.”
While we’ve seen cinematic trailers from the likes of Hellblade II and Halo Infinite, no company has really shown what gameplay will look like on next-gen hardware.

It’s also unclear if we’ll get an announcement about pricing of the Xbox Series X too, although the emphasis on games might mean it’s being held back for a later date.
This also adds further credence to support the rumour Sony will unveil their PS5 console in June, although they’ve yet to announce an official presentation.
We already know a fair amount about Microsoft's next console, including specifications, features and a number of games, with the price point and specific release date the main unknowns.
Microsoft’s Inside Xbox presentation will air on YouTube Thursday 7th May at 8am PT/4pm BST.
