After a month of silence, WarCraft III Reforged got a new patch

The team assures fans that they are still passionately dedicated to delivering promised features, fixing bugs, and other issues.
After a month of silence, WarCraft III Reforged got a new patch

It has been almost two months since the launch of Warcraft III Reforged.

Back at BlizzCon 2018, one of the most beloved PC games of all time got an announcement, which made fans jumping for joy. It was a trailer for Warcraft III Reforged, a complete remaster of the original, which, back then, looked like dream-come-true for any WarCraft and strategy fan. But, from that moment, everything went downhill for Blizzard, their games, and their fans. The Diablo Immortal fiasco, the sudden pull of the plug from Heroes of the Storm esports scene, Blitzchung controversy,  massive dissatisfaction with new WoW content, and a lot more. Fear started to grow amongst WarCraft III fans, amplified by complete silence from devs for almost a full year.

Finally, some news came around BlizzCon 2019 and closed beta started immediately. It was a rough start, with a lot of bugs, questionable design decisions, connectivity problems, visual unclarities, and other issues. But people still had faith in the "Classic" team at Blizzard, the one in charge of Reforged. Near the end of the year, the release date was finally announced - January 28. Beta was live non-stop till the very launch day, and people started to realize that it will be almost impossible to fix all the problems and add features that weren't there, just days before the planned release. Finally, the day has come and resulted in a fiasco. Reforged received massive backlash from fans and critics, and due to angry review-bombing, the game now has the lowest ever user score on Metacritic - 0.5.

After almost a full week, Blizzard released a statement where they tried to assure fans that they will fix the game and gave a "non-apology" by saying, "we understand that we failed player's expectations." A small hotfix patch came soon after, but after that, nothing for more than a month. Until this Wednesday evening.

The new patch finally came, labeled 1.32.3, and resolved quite a long list of issues, mainly various bug fixes. Nonetheless, if you read comments from players on Battle.net forums and Reddit, you'll find them mostly disappointed and angry, which can be summarized in one sentence: "This is all we got a month later...?"

Although in patch notes, they say they are prioritizing delivering features like Ranked Ladders, Profiles, Clans, and Custom Campaigns, the patient of the players is rapidly coming to an end. Since most of the requested (and promised) features were already existing in the "original" WarCraft 3 and now are removed and inaccessible, since the launch of the Reforged.
