While we have been getting a few bits of information surrounding the game, a major new leak indicates that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge might release in the middle of June.
As per a new tweet by PlayStation Game Size, a Twitter account which tracks the backend database of PlayStation, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge will be released on June 16th 2022.
The tweet even mentions that it might just be a placeholder for some other date, but this aligns with previous reports that Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge will launch sometime in the middle of 2022.
Recently enough, Limited Run Games announced that they will be acting as a distributor for the game and also shared a look at the Collector's Edition which will include a reversible cover, sprite stickers, and an art booklet. All of this seems to hint that the game might release sooner than being pushed back.
Nothing about the game's release date has been confirmed as of writing, so consume all of this news with a grain of salt.
The art style and the overall animation design of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge appear exciting and players will be able to take control of Leonardo, Donatello, Michelangelo, Raphael, April O'Neil and Master Splinter as they fight against rivals including the Foot Clan, Krang, Bebop and Rocksteady, and Shredder in locations ranging from New York City sewers to Dimension X.
All in all, it seems like the game will be a fun, side-scrolling experience and if leaks are to be believed we might be getting our hands on the game pretty soon, i.e. on 16th June.
