The Game Awards kicked off with the reveal of a brand-new Star Wars game, called Eclipse, set to be developed by Quantic Dream, the team behind Detroid: Become Human, and Heavy Rain.
While little information was shared about the game, a spectacular trailer could show glimpses of familiar locales, such as Coruscant, Kashyyyk, and more, even potentially familiar faces like Yoda were shown off.
Taking into consideration Quantic Dream's track record of creating single-player experiences focused on player choices and somewhat controversial political subtext, it will be interesting to see what David Cage's team can bring to the table.
Fans were hoping to see a bit more about the Knights of the Old Republic remake shown at a PlayStation event earlier this year, however, Eclipse will have to do for the time being.
No release date or further info was shared. As soon as we get more information, we'll be sure to update you in full detail.
