We all know the feeling; You wanted to play that one game and you've been waiting patiently for the discount, but you got tired of waiting and decided to buy the game at a full price.
And a few days later, there's a massive discount on the game and now you feel like a fool for being impatient.

Thankfully, Epic Games Store has now implemented a really great new feature that will make this awful feeling a thing of the past.
Epic Store now offers partial refunds for recent purchases made before a game comes on sale.
The best thing? It looks like they are being automatic, you don't need to actually check if the game is on sale or not, you will receive an email that will inform you about the refund.
Whoa whoa what?! I’ve clearly been around for too long because I find this refund for a discount I missed on the @EpicGames store absolutely mind blowingly generous. This is incredible? pic.twitter.com/eHfcus5E0K

For example, this means that if you've bought the game for $40, and now it's on sale for $15, you will be offered a $25 refund.
It is not yet clear what time period will "recently placed orders" exactly be, but there are some suggestions that this will include purchases from up to two weeks before the discount.
Previously, there were reports of Epic Games refunding people who have bought World War Z even two months before it was on a giveaway.
