According to Ryan Friend from Rush B Media, Braxton "brax" Pierce is in talks to join TSM’s VALORANT roster.
The organization already has a full, five-man squad, but as fans might have realized, in recent days one of the core members, James “Hazed” Cobb has been missing during scrims. Therefore, one of TSM’s streamers, Ali “Myth” Kabbani has been replacing him during the team’s practice.
Sources now claim, Hazed hasn’t been dropped from the roster but will be part of a six-man roster for the struggling North American side.
Brax first entered VALORANT back in early 2020, when the game wasn’t even in its closed beta state. He signed with T1, which was one of the first organizations announce their intention to field a competitive roster in Riot's tactical shooter The team had some initial success, but performances steadily worsened and brax was dropped alongside Keven "AZK" Larivière as T1 moved in a different direction.
TSM have a strong roster on paper but have struggled to turn that potential into results, they missed out on the first Valorant Masters after run through Challengers 3 was ended by 100 Thieves.
According to Friend’s report, TSM always wanted to tweak and fix its Achilles heel, and forming a six-man roster by bringing in brax would be one way to achieve that.
If TSM does indeed sign the American player, the TSM roster will look as follows:
- Braxton "brax" Pierce
- Taylor “drone” Johnson
- Yassine “Subroza” Taoufik
- Matthew “WARDELL” Yu
- Stephen “reltuC” Cutler
- James “hazed” Cobb
- Taylor "Tailored" Broomall (Coach)
