There is still no confirmation about s0m being part of the roster, but it may be just the organization is waiting for the proper moment. His current team Gen.G recently withdrew from IEM New York, which could point to upcoming roster changes.
Believing that s0m’s announcement is just a matter of days, it would mean that the team needs three more names to complete the team.
This isn't NRG’s first foray into Valorant having signed former CS:GO and Apex Legends pro Brandon “Ace” Winn as a content creator.
This announcement could be seen as yet another blow for CS:GO which has had a rocky couple of months. Defections to Valorant and attempts to grapple with the widespread use of the spectator bug which has,.so far, seen over 35 coaches banned are just some of the issues facing the game.
As more names are being revealed to had been using the bug and further punishments for stream sniping expected, more shadows are being cast over the scene’s future.
