Leviatán has finally taken revenge against G2 to win the VCT Americas Stage 2 Grand Final by 3-1. G2, on the other side, narrowly missed securing the winners title for the second time this year after reaching the Grand Finals.

"I personally feel very happy," kiNgg shared after winning. "When we made this team, we got a lot of hate. Everyone was just giving us bad luck. So, for all the haters who wanted us to lose, I hope you are just mad right now."

Mazino was the MVP of the Finale as played the most crucial role in taking LEV close to the win with his insane clutches and picks against the opponent.

The 2024 VCT season has been a roller coaster for Leviatán. They got eliminated in Kickoff's Group Stage and failed to qualify Masters Madrid. They made a comeback in Stage 1 and while they were not able to reach the Grand Final after getting defeated by G2 in Lower Grand Finals, they were still able to make it to Masters Shanghai.

However, they couldn't make it to Playoffs there, but they massively improved a lot in Stage 2 and looked stronger than ever. Even though they were pushed to Lower Bracket by G2, they were able to overcome all obstacles and beat G2 in Upper Finals to win it all and secure the first seed from Americas for Champions.

G2 had the veto advantage coming from the Upper Finals and banned Leviatán's strongest maps, Icebox and Sunset, from the map pool. However, despite that Leviatán was able to take the Lotus, the first map, to overtime even though G2 got a dominating start and won it by 15-13. G2 was under a lot of pressure coming into Haven and even though they tried to put up a fight, they were not able to close it out again as Leviatán reached series point by winning the map by 16-14.

G2 was able to take the series to another map by winning Bind in a comfortable fashion by 13-9, but Leviatán striked again in Ascent and destroyed G2 to win the map by 13-4 and the series by 3-1.
