Fnatic has won VCT EMEA Stage 2 without losing even a single series throughout the event. They were up against Team Vitality in the Grand Final and won the BO5 series by 3-1 with ease, securing the first seed for Valorant Champions Seoul.
Talking about the season, Chronicle said, "Jake [Boaster] said before this year started that we gonna win three trophies. We actually won two out of three already, Stage 1 and Stage 2, now Champs are coming."

The first map, Haven, was Fnatic's pick and Boaster's playground. They completely dominated the first half and put on a massive lead of 9 rounds on defense. Even though Vitality tried to fight in the second half to close out the gap by winning four rounds back-to-back, it was not enough to stop Fnatic, as they won it by 13-8.
On Vitality's pick, Ascent, Fnatic surprised everyone by picking the same composition as Haven and it looked like it will be extremely hard for Vitality to counter it. The first two rounds supported this assumption, but from the bonus round, Vitality let Fnatic win only two rounds in the rest of first half.
Vitality continoud their momentum in the second half and reached map point in blink of an eye; however, Fnatic were just not ready to give up as they secured the next four rounds consecutively. But Vitality finally got the round that they wanted and balanced up the series score to 1-1 by winning Ascent by 13-9.
The storyline of Lotus was similar to Ascent, but instead of Vitality, it was Fnatic who reached series point by winning the map 13-9. Vitality had to win Bind if they wanted to keep their hopes alive in the series, but it ended up to be the most one sided map of all and in the favor of Fnatic as they demolished Vitality by putting 10-0 on the board and the final score of 13-3.
