The Casting of Frank Stone is Supermassive Games' newest choice-based dive into the Dead by Daylight universe, giving players the power to choose their own path. You might be wondering whether you can try out the newest entry to the DBD multiverse with your friends. Here's whether the Casting of Frank Stone offers multiplayer, and the best way to experience the story with friends.
Is The Casting of Frank Stone Multiplayer?
Unfortunately, there's technically no way to play The Casting of Frank Stone with your friends from a distance. Thankfully, though, the game does allow for couch co-op through the 'Die Together' mode. Just select it and then click on 'New Game' to start your adventure with up to four friends. Just like in the main mode, you can also access the Cutting Room Floor to alter your pathways provided you've completed the game at least o once (or, if you own the Deluxe Mode, right off the bat).
Once you've selected the Die Together mode, you'll need to add in your player two - and your players three through five, if applicable. Each player can enter their name underneath the character they'd like to play, along with choosing their own difficulty level. If you don't have five players, don't fret - the game will divide up the remaining characters among the existing players.
Each player will only play as the character they've chosen - and will get to make decisions, complete quick-time events, and explore areas as that character or characters. While The Casting of Frank Stone doesn't allow fans to play together from a distance, this is thankfully a neat way to bring nearby players together through couch co-op.
