The Casting of Frank Stone is a game of choices, and some of the decisions you make might not quite go the way you intended. Some split-second decisions can lead to the death of a character or completely switch up your playthrough. To earn the Entity Displeased achievement and get the "best" ending, you'll need to make sure all characters - Jaime, Madison, Chris, Sam, and Linda - survive.

To help you out, here's how to save everyone in The Casting of Frank Stone. Note that once you've already completed the game, you can go back to the noted chapters in the Cutting Room floor and start off wherever you made a mistake.

Jaime: Don't Confront, Flee

Avoid trying to help Chris, since it'll result in death.

In Chapter 5, you'll be faced with a decision as Jaime: jump into combat to help your girlfriend, or flee. While you'll likely want to try to help, this isn't the best move here - it'll result in Jaime dying immediately, as he's simply no match for the spectre in front of you. While it'll temporarily upset Chris, you'll have a chance to make things right later, and this is the only way to ensure Jaime lives.

Linda: Don't Check Sam's Pouch

When Sam falls down, Linda will come to help him - but also takes this opportunity to search his person for any new information. You'll be faced with a quick-time decision that allows you to either search Sam's pouch, which contains a gun, or his diary. For everything to work out later on, Sam will need his gun - so check his diary instead of the pouch.

Chris: Have Chris Return

Chris will need to go back home to stay alive.

Chris finds her way in 2024 - many years into the future - by travelling through the Sarcophogus, which serves as a type of portal. This switching of timelines will throw things off, so it's important to successfully send Chris home rather than having her stay in the present.

Madi: Give Stan The Pendant

At one point, Madi and Stan will search Augustine Lieber's bedroom together only to find a pendant, which Madi identifies as the protective talisman they read about earlier in a book. Stan asks for the pendant, noting he's had a pretty rough go of things today. For things to work out, you'll need to offer the pendant to Stan instead of keeping it to yourself.

Linda: Help Madi

Linda must choose to help Madison.

Later on, Linda and Madi end up in a close encounter with Frank Stone. At this point, Linda can either help Madi, or rush for the elevator herself. For everyone to survive, Linda will temporarily need to distract their pursuer, which requires choosing helping Madi. Madi will run into the elevator and go upstairs to safety.

Madi: Refuse Augustine

Madi will need to refuse Augustine at the end.

Towards the very end of the game, Madi is faced with a decision in her response to Augustine's offer: she can either remain furious and refuse Augustine, or can reply with uncertainty. For every character to live, you'll need to stand your ground and pick the 'Furious' option.

If you've made all of these choices throughout the game and succeed at all quick-time events, you should be on the right path to getting the Entity Displeased achievement and saving everyone in The Casting of Frank Stone.
