At this time, there is no information available on when finals of the Galaxies Championship take place. The first hints we receive about this are that the event finals take place near the end of Set 3. In addition to this, the Teamfight Tactics: North America Final takes place in Mid-August.
What this means for the game is that Teamfight Tactics: Galaxies is around for at least five more months.
Qualifying regions for the Teamfight Tactics: Galaxies Championship
As mentioned before, the Teamfight Tactics: Galaxies Championship is open to competitors around the globe. China is allocated three qualifier spots for its regional event, with the second most spots going to all players with access to the European servers. Included in this are the CIS region and the middle eastern countries.
.@TFT has been played by 80 million+ players globally. We’ve held three #esports events & our most recent one had nearly TRIPLE the viewership of previous ones. If @TFT was a standalone game, it would be one of the top games in Korea, so let’s review Korea’s regional plan 👇 2/5 pic.twitter.com/LemjoRO3RR

Korea, North America, Brazil, and the remainder of Latin America each host a regional qualifier with two championship qualifications. With Turkey and Japan receiving one qualification slot each. The qualifiers all come together for the first 16-person Teamfight Tactics Championship, taking place later this year.
The North America Final
The first information about the qualification is from the North America region. The qualification period for North America starts this May, until the end of July. Throughout this period, players can earn points through their rank on the ranked ladder. The top 10 point earners of the North America region qualify through this system.

In the first week of May, the beta of the Teamfight Tactics open entry circuit starts, hosting “a number” of online tournaments taking place from May to July. A total of two seats to the NA Final are up for grabs through these open tournaments. In addition to this, four more additional seats will be available through partnered tournaments in June and July. We expect to hear more information about the tournament circuit soon.
It is important to note that while Teamfight Tactics has access to cross-platform play, the tournament organizers may choose to hold PC or Mobile-only events at their discretion.

The announcement of the Teamfight Tactics: Galaxies Championship is only the start of Riot Games’ plans for TFT Esports. Throughout the next few months, Riot Games is taking steps to expand the competitive ecosystem of Teamfight Tactics further. Some of the aspects of this include tools to make operating and broadcasting tournaments easier for the organizers of these events.
