All Version Exclusive Pokemon In Teal Mask DLC

The Pokémon Scarlet & Violet Teal Mask DLC is finally here, and with it comes new areas to explore, new trainers to battle, and new Pokemon to obtain. Two separate DLCs are available specifically for each game, meaning Scarlet players will have access to the Pokémon Scarlet Teal Mask DLC, and Violet players will have access to the Pokémon Violet Teal Mask DLC. 

On the surface, these two DLCs are exactly the same and offer the same content. However, things do differ when it comes to several unique Pokemon that can only be found in each respective game. Version exclusive Pokémon is not a new concept, and in order to obtain all of these Pokémon, players will need to trade with a friend or a random trainer online in order to complete their Pokédex.

All Version Exclusive Pokemon In The Teal Mask DLC

Thankfully, there are very few version exclusive Pokémon this time around. In total, three unique Pokémon can only be found in one of each game. These are as follows:

Pokemon Scarlet The Teal Mask DLC Version Exclusive Pokémon:

• Gligar
• Gliscor
• Cramorant

Pokemon Violet The Teal Mask DLC Version Exclusive Pokémon:

• Aipom
• Ambipom
• Morpeko

Aipom can be found around Mossui Village, and once it learns Double Hit, it can evolve into Ambipom after being leveled up once. Gligar can be found in the Kitakami Wilds and will evolve into Gliscor after leveling up once at night while holding a Razor Fang. Cramorant can be found in the Eastern and Northern areas of the map near waterbeds. Finally, Morpeko can be found in Wistful FIelds, Paradise Barrens, and the bottom of Oni Mountian. 

While a nice change from the ten or so version exclusive Pokémon found in the base games, players will still need to put in a little effort if they plan on completing their Pokédex. Thankfully, it is very easy to trade with someone with an opposite version of the game in order to obtain these version-exclusive Pokemon.

Additionally, those trainers who did not purchase the DLC can still obtain any and all of the DLC-restricted Pokémon via trading.
