Unlike some early-game quests, players must have completed a prerequisite of maxing out their Inventory slots to trigger some response from Zeki to begin the quest.

Players are to show their patronage towards Zeki's General Store and acquire a backpack upgrade that will come in handy and be extremely valuable for players long-term. How To Complete The Zeki's Expanded Backpack Quest In Palia?

After being introduced to the Villagers in Kilima Village and learning about the newly acquired Skills to master, players will begin to settle in on their Housing Plot; however, it's not in the best condition. Once they have cleared the plot of debris during the Welcome to Palia quest, they'll notice they have maxed out their Inventory to receive a letter from Zeki in their Mailbox.

Reading this letter is how the Zeki's Expanded Backpack main quest is triggered in which they are to visit Zeki at his General Store in Kilima Village. Once inside, look to the left of the store's counter to find a small table promoting the Backpack Upgrades, for which, interacting with the signage, they can purchase the Expanded Backpack for 500 Gold.

Players who don't have enough Gold can either fish or mine for resources before selling them at Zeki's General Store by interacting with the cash register. If they've obtained enough Gold, they can proceed with purchasing the Expanded Backpack, which completes Zeki's Expanded Backpack quest, and they'll earn five Renown, improving their Friendship with Zeki and the additional Backpack Inventory after buying the upgrade.

They will receive a letter from Zeki post-quest thanking players for acquiring the Expanded Backpack upgrade and their patronage. In addition, they can speak to Zeki post-quest to gain unique dialogue options after getting the Backpack Upgrade, for which he asks them to spread the word about the backpack, as they can either reject the offer or tell Zeki to be paid for such a request.
