Whether you're online or want to invite existing buddies to play a game with you, you can play with others on console if you're on PC, and vice versa. Here's how to enable crossplay in The Outlast Trials so you can play with your friends regardless of platform.

How To Enable Crossplay In The Outlast Trials

To enable crossplay in The Outlast Trials, you'll essentially need to directly invite your friends using other consoles to your party.

Before doing this, you'll need to add your friends in The Outlast Trials. You can do this by just clicking the 'Add Friend' button at the bottom of the screen in Groups. Then, you'll get a friend code that you can share with your friend, and they can share theirs.

Once you've typed in the friend code and clicked enter, you should have successfully added your friend, no matter what platform they're on. Their name should now appear in your Friends List.

After you've added your friends, you can then directly invite them to your party, no matter what console they're on.

Step-by-Step Guide

1. Pick any of the trials, and then click on 'Invite' to open up the invite menu.
2. Click a plus button to add someone to the party.
3. Choose from the list of Steam friends (Steam only) or the list of your Outlast Trials friends (all platforms).
4. Your friend should receive an invite to join the party.

For online trials, crossplay will automatically be enabled, and you'll be able to join Groups with people playing on all platforms.
