NBA 2K24 will officially feature cross-play for the first time in the entire series.
According to a newly released trailer, PS5 and Xbox Series players will be able to play NBA 2K together for the first time ever, though this does leave PC players out in the cold, along with preventing players from playing on both the previous PlayStation and Xbox generations unable to interact with each other.
NBA 2K24 is currently scheduled to launch on September 8 this year, a mere week after Starfield launches. Three different versions of the game will be available: the Kobe Bryant edition, the Black Mamba Edition, and a 25th-anniversary edition of the game which launches two days later on September 10th.
Black Mama Edition includes 100K virtual currency along with more MyTeam and MyCareer content. The 25th-anniversary edition includes a 12-month subscription to NBA League Pass, which is NBA's streaming service that allows you to watch all games, live and on-demand.
